Dear Nathan - Is it the music or the words that make you swoon?
Does ARR's music empower the lyrics or vice-versa?
Its prolly a combo of both...I've heard songs with exceptional ARR music that never stuck a chord 'cos the lyrics were ludicrous....
Hats off to Javed Akhtar too!
Phoenix- 'Tis both the music and the lyrics! Thou doth make a very valid point. Akhtar's lyrics aren't really the icing on the cake, rather they are key to what makes the resulting concoction so heady!
